December 23 - Santa Finishes Doll Clothes Closets

Lots of snow today and big winds, 30 miles per. The Ranger (big ATV) and both cars are in the garage/workshop, so didn't build the wood fire and did the last bit of finishing on this Santa project in the 50 degree workshop. Showing off my handiwork today, after checking to be sure that granddaughters, eight and nine and computer literate, wouldn't be checking this website.

Santa's workshop jobs were finished so Santa went out to face the storm and the foot of snow in the driveway with his trusty monster snow blower. Most of the 200 foot driveway was clear when the trusted monster choked on a rock and disabled itself. Stopped dead and wouldn't go no more. But help is on the way. When we bought the snow blower we also bought an extended five year warranty that brings a repairman out to fix it. Nearest repairman or repairwoman will have to travel at least 90 miles. We'll see how that goes.

This Santa is trying to learn to like snow. He knows that a foot of snow and 35 mile an hour winds and 27 degree temps are puny compared to what those poor people in places like Madison, WI have to put up with. Nonetheless, this learning curve is pretty steep.
